Mason Moran

Wildlife Biologist & Permitting Specialist


Mason was born and raised in Oklahoma City, OK; and graduated with honors from The University of Oklahoma in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in biology. During his time at university, he was a student executive for the international service organization, Sooners Without Borders, he traveled to El Salvador with the College of Environmental and Civil Engineering to implement clean water infrastructure, he studied abroad in Peru, and he worked as an ecologist for the Oklahoma Biological Survey.

Post-graduation, Mason relocated to southwest Colorado, then later to Idaho, chasing cold weather and working in Mountain Operations at both Telluride Ski Resort, CO, and Grand Targhee Ski Resort, WY. During the summer seasons in Idaho/Wyoming, He worked as a wildlife biologist and guide in both Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks.

Mason loves mountain sports and various outdoor pursuits including skiing, climbing, mountaineering, rafting, fishing, and backpacking. He loves to travel, and he tends to find himself lost somewhere remote in the American West or Latin America.  Locally, he enjoys playing amongst the rocks in SW Oklahoma, exploring our beautiful state with friends and family, and planning his next adventure with a smile.
